Abstract:Currently, there are no cases of developing the urban deep underground spaces in soft soil foundations at depths of up to 60 m in China. There will be large indeterminacy and safety risk in the process of project construction. The theoretical and technical systems for constructing the deep rainwater storage pipelines urgently need to be improved. Relying on the construction implementation of the test section for the deep rainwater storage pipeline system project in the section of Suzhou River, the implementation situation of the project is systematically introduced from four parts of ultra-deep enclosing structures, deep groundwater control, ultra-deep shaft structures and deeply buried shield tunnel. And the difficulties and characteristics of each construction stage are analyzed in detail, and the effective countermeasures are provided, which provides the references and experience for the construction of urban rainwater storage projects under the similar complex geological conditions in the future.
