Taking Wolong Reservoir in Nanjing as the research object, the requirements and measures for reservoir engineering management and protection, water bodies and water resources protection, and ecological protection are proposed from the perspectives of reservoir engineering, water bodies and water resources, water ecology, development and utilization, and management ability. And the suggestions for reservoir development and utilization management, and the upgrading construction schemes for management organizational system and management ability are also put forward. The standardized, scientific and efficient management and protection system of Wolong Reservoir suitable for the economic and social development is built to form a new protection pattern, build a happy reservoir and promote the sustainable utilization of Wolong Reservoir, which provides a scientific planning basis for strengthening the management and control of Wolong Reservoir, and also offers the experience and reference for the management and protection planning analysis of the other reservoirs.
