Abstract:With the development of Huadu District, the proportion of non-motorized vehicles in the daily travel mode of citizens is increasing, and the traditional "car-based" road cross-section cannot meet the travel needs of citizens, resulting in frequent traffic safety, order and other problems. By analyzing the travel demand, traffic order and traffic safety of the non-motorized vehicles in Huadu District, it is necessary to reconstruct and upgrade the non-motorized lanes. On the basis of the specifications in Technical Guidelines for Reconstruction and Upgrading of Non-motorized Lanes in Guangzhou, the principles for the reconstruction and upgrading of non-motorized lanes at key nodes such as intersections, road sections and bus stops are put forward. And combined with the implementation experience of non-motorized lane renovation in Huadu District, the applicable conditions for different reconstruction strategies are further summarized and formed, which provides the experience and reference for the reconstruction of non-motorized lanes in other cities.
