Abstract:With the increase of operating years and traffic volume, the using performances and qualities of cement concrete pavement in many urban roads have decreased to different degrees, and the safety and comfortableness of vehicle driving are also reduced to varying degrees. And many urban roads in the early construction did not take into account the sidewalks and motor lanes. The slow traffic system function is not perfect. Taking the three-year action plan (the first batch) for the "white to black" road upgrading project in Guangming District as an example, the four municipal roads are selected to detect the pavement conditions, and analyze the damage conditions, structural bearing capacity and usability of pavements. Aiming at the actual situation of this project, the pavement structure and alignment are reasonably designed, and the most feasible scheme of maintenance and reconstruction is designed in order to improve the comprehensive using performance of road and prolong the service life of road, which provides some reference for the similar projects in the future.
