Abstract:In order to prevent the freezing damage of central drainage pipe in the tunnel in cold regions, a new drainage method with bamboo winding composite pipe as the central drainage pipe is applied in a tunnel in Lanzhou City. Through the on-site monitoring means, the temperature of the tunnel construction site is monitored for a long time, and the test monitoring results are analyzed to verify the thermal insulation effect of bamboo winding pipe as the central drainage pipe. The results show that the maximum freezing depth of the tunnel in January and February even reaches 90 ~ 100 cm under the influence of continuous low temperature. The buried depth of the bamboo winding pipe is about 120 cm, so there is no freezing damage, which shows that the bamboo winding composite pipe has good thermal insulation performance and can provide a new direction for the optimization design of the central drainage pipe of tunnel in cold regions.
