Abstract:In the process of urban renewal and development, it is inevitable to encounter the existing municipal facilities that need to be crossed or avoided when implementing the underground utility tunnel. Taking the project of utility tunnel undercrossing the existing municipal road in Cangning Road of Shijiazhuang as an example, and comprehensively considering the engineering geological conditions, utility tunnel layout, surrounding environmental protection, engineering impact, construction difficulty, engineering cost and the other requirements, the open excavation method, pipe jacking method and shallow tunneling method for the road crossing scheme are discussed separately. Finally, the road crossing scheme of shallow tunneling method is selected. The key technologies in the construction of utility tunnel by shallow tunneling method for this project are introduced in detail, and the safety feasibility of the project is verified by field measurement, which is for reference.
