Abstract:As an important soil conditioner in tunnel boring machine (TBM) construction, the system composition and foaming effect of the foam additive affect the actual construction to a large extent, especially in more complex strata. Aiming at the problems such as poor foaming effect in the foam additive system of TBM, a test platform is developed and built. By simulating the actual construction parameters of TMB, six factors, such as different foaming ratios that affect the foam foaming and spraying effects, are explored, compared and tested, which provides the test data for the design and development of the foam system.
