The special maintenance engineering of the Huangpu River Embankment in Pudong New District in 2023 is mainly aimed at the weak section of the Huangpu River flood control wall with structural damage in Pudong New District to carry out the maintenance, reinforcement, reconstruction and new construction. There will be four sections of flood control wall in 2023, namely the section of Shanghai Bus Factory, the section of Pudong Waterworks (Jujiaqiao), the section of Shanghai Urban Drainage Co., Ltd., and the section of Shanghai Xingrun Power Cable Development Co., Ltd. Through the implementation of this project, the overall stability of the Huangpu River flood control wall and the ability to withstand the high tide level are improved to ensure the flood control safety of Shanghai.
