By sorting out the basic situation of the current flood control and waterlogging drainage project in the Shengli River Basin, and through the literature review, field investigation and survey visits, the existing problems in the current flood control and waterlogging drainage system in the basin are analyzed. The flood control and waterlogging drainage planning standards are demonstrated. The treatment principles of "storage and drainage" in flood control engineering construction are comprehensively considered. The planning scheme combined with the actual situation of the river basin is put forward, which provides reference for flood control and waterlogging drainage planning in small watersheds in southern Jiangsu.
