Abstract:Multi-strand finished cable anchoring system is the main type of anchoring the main cable strands of large suspension bridges at present. With the continuous increase of suspension bridge span, the steel wire of the main cable is developed to the direction of ultra-high strength and larger diameter in order to reduce the weight of the main cable. At present, the commonly used wire strength of the main cable has reached 1 960 MPa, while the main cable with the steel wire strength over 2 000 MPa and diameter over 6 mm has been applied in the projects. With the upgrading of high-strength and large-diameter main cable strand, it is necessary to develop the anchorage anchoring system matched with it. Through the design, test and engineering application of 2 000 MPa class steel strand multi-strand finished cable anchorage anchoring system, the results show that the new anchoring system has the advantages of reducing the engineering construction cost, reliable anchoring, good durability, compact structure and so on, and has become the first choice of current anchorage engineering design.
