Abstract:Aiming at the diseases of assembled hollow slab beam bridges that are commonly exposed at present, the maintenance and reinforcement design is carried out against the background of the maintenance and reinforcement project of five hollow slab beam bridges on the ground floor of Ring III Line in Wuhan. The main design methods proposed include the construction schemes of integral jacking of the beam by transverse blocks in turn, double-layer design of new support pad, three different connection modes between the support pad and the pier coping beam able to be adjusted according to the actual field situation, and the treatment of rebar planting across hinge joint. The construction process and operation condition show that these design methods not only increase the convenience of construction and shorten the construction period, but also play a good reinforcement effect, which effectively restore and improve the overall force performance of the structure, and restore the durability of the structure.
