Jiajin Section in G15 Highway is an important part of arterial highway network in Shanghai. In order to match the regional development needs and traffic flow increase trend along the line, the study on the reconstruction and extension of Jiajin Section in G15 Highway is carried out. The project background, engineering overview, functional positioning, main technical standards, overall scheme and other aspects are analyzed, and the key node schemes are described in detail. Based on the multiple target of function, economy, environment and safety, the technical standard system of expressway reconstruction and extension is balanced to form the feasible overall scheme of reconstruction and extension.
