As the spatial layout of some cities is limited by geographical conditions, the fast channel in the upper planning cannot be implemented, so the short-term scheme has to be implemented. However, with the rapid development of city and the continuous updating of the urban spatial structure, the short-term scheme cannot satisfy the urban development demand. It is imperative to implement the rapid channel in the upper planning. Taking West Huandao Road in Hengqin New District of Zhuhai City as an example, there are natural bottlenecks such as mountains and canals. In order to realize the rapid reconstruction of the current West Huandao Road, the multiple schemes are compared and selected. The optimal scheme is determined through the analysis of the implementation process, engineering cost and the other influencing factors, which also provides the reference for the rapid reconstruction of similar roads.
