Abstract:Many bridges in Fujian province are facing splicing construction. In order to reduce structural diseases and maintenance pressure after splicing, it is necessary to investigate the technical status of existing spliced bridges, and evaluate the rationality of splice design scheme. The analysis results show that new bridge in Fujian expressway adopts the same main girder’s section type as old bridge, among which the slab section accounts for the vast majority with T section ranks the second and box section far minimum. The splice of slab beam mainly adopts the form of only connecting superstructure, and the disease amount is less than those of other forms. The splice of T beam totally adopts the form of only connecting superstructure, which results in a variety of diseases but still meets the serviceability requirements. The splice of box beam mainly adopts such a form of leaving superstructure and substructure independent that the flange gnawing and leakage phenomenon are serious. Therefore, from the point of view of disease prevention and control, it is suggested that bridge splicing for main beams with same section should adopt the form of only splicing superstructure.
