The compilation of spatial control program is the key to realize effective reservation and utilization of highway territory resources, which would further ensure the healthy and sustainable development of highway industry. The proper procedure and method is of great significance to scientifically and orderly carry out the compilation of spatial control program for highway territory. The relevant policies and literatures were firstly investigated on the spatial control program of highway territory. Then the execution procedures, critical works and corresponding operating methods were summarized in combination with the author’s working experience in recent years, which could provide some guidance for the spatial control program of highway territory.y
