Abstract:In order to improve the operating efficiency of expressway ramps and associated intersections, the coordinated control factors of expressway-intersections are the key, coordinated control model of ramps and associated intersections based on traffic state index and ramp entrance influence factors is established. Simulation verification in actual areas shows that the model can significantly improve the operation of the system. The total traffic volume on the ramp increased by 8.7%, and the delay at the intersection was reduced by 11%.
