Taking the design of deep and shallow foundation pits in Shanghai Yanggao Road Tunnel Project as an example, the enclosure structure of foundation pit is modeled and analyzed by PLAXIS finite element software and Frws7 design software. The result shows that the calculated results of the internal force and deformation of enclosing piles of deep and shallow foundation pits obtained by the above two kinds of software are larger than the final measured results of the foundation pit. It is explained that the design method is safe and reliable.
