Abstract:Wooden pile foundations belong to the category of squeezed piles. In the construction of close-packed wooden pile structures in water conservancy projects, due to soil squeezing effect and excess pore water pressure, there will be floating and tilting in river sections with thick silt soil. Based on an example of a water conservancy project in Shanghai, this article proposes control measures from two aspects: optimized design and improved construction technology, which can effectively solve the problem of wooden pile floating and provide a reference for other similar projects in soft soil areas such as Shanghai.
