Abstract:This paper demonstrates the basic concept of intelligent vehicle infrastructure cooperation system (IVICS) and the applications on intelligent traffic system (ITS) from following aspects: vehicle, roadside, edge computing and cloud computing. The classic scenarios of urban traffic are analyzed with the aid of vehicle infrastructure cooperation technology. In conclusion, applications of this technology could benefit many areas such as improvement on intelligence and informatization of urban traffic, releasing traffic congestion, promotion on traffic safety. It has practical significance of increasing the operation efficiency of traffic system.
