This paper takes a 5×46 deck reinforced concrete in the Dianzhong New District of Kunming City, Yunnan Province as the research object, uses midas civil software to build its full bridge model, and explores the seismic response of arch bridges under earthquake action. The design of the arch bridge provides some engineering experience. The calculation results show that the response of arch bridges in high-intensity areas under the action of seismic waves is greatly enhanced in areas with low-intensity. Compared with the static calculation results, the bending moment and eccentricity of the main arch ring vary greatly. With the increase of the eccentricity, the result of the change of the eccentricity becomes more obvious, which is a severe challenge to the load-bearing capacity of the main arch ring.
