Abstract:As the "Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area" and "Belt and Road" demand, the third expansion project of Guangzhou Baiyun international airport (second terminal area) will be the benchmark for the civil aviation industry. Building a high standard, fully integrated and integrated comprehensive transportation hub has become one of the main objectives of this project. The effective operation of landside traffic directly affects the operation efficiency of the whole terminal area. Through the prediction and analysis of landside traffic demand in future, combined with VISSIM traffic simulation software, this paper simulates, evaluates and optimizes the landside traffic scheme design, and obtains the optimal traffic design scheme.
