In recent years, China""s national economic level has been developing rapidly, the urbanization rate has been increasing, and the construction pace of new urban areas has been accelerating. As the basic skeleton of a town, the success of municipal road construction is directly related to the use function of the whole new town. Based on the comprehensive construction project of new urbanization in southern New District of Zhenxiong County, Yunnan province, this paper introduces the technical points that should be paid attention to in road design in mountain cities, which can provide some reference for road construction in mountain cities in the future
