In order to reduce energy consumption in cofferdam construction, increase safety of cofferdam and reduce influence on surrounding environment during cofferdam construction, steel sheet pile cofferdam is more and more used in hydraulic engineering. Through analysis of applicability and design process of steel sheet pile cofferdam, and through specific cases of steel sheet pile cofferdam in Shanghai embankment maintenance project, steel sheet is further explained. The application of steel sheet pile cofferdam has little influence on surrounding environment, more prominent environmental and social benefits, and improves the construction image of hydraulic engineering.
