Abstract:In the high temperature weather in summer, the temperature of the bridge deck is above 60℃. And the adhesion ability of the conventional asphalt bonding layer in the bridge deck pavement structure will decrease significantly with the increase of temperature, which causes the insufficient adhesion and shear strength between the asphalt overlay and the lower layer to produce the shear drift disease. The second-order epoxy asphalt is used as the waterproof bonding layer under the SMA layer to carry out an experimental study, and the feasibility of it as the waterproof adhesive layer under the SMA layer is verified.
