In recent years, the treatment efforts of the trunk river are strengthened in Jiading District. The comprehensive treatments of Round-city River, Lianqi River, Loutang River, Hengli River, Yantietang River and Gupu River are carried out one after another. The above rivers are all the low-grade channels, namely 7-grade channels or the offgrade channels. A certain safety influence on the passing ships and engineering construction vessels will be brought in the construction of treatment projects. Various factors of shipping safety in the construction of Gupu River (provincial boundary - Jimingtang) Comprehensive Treatment Project are analyzed. The targeted safety guarantee measures are put forward to ensure the safety of passing ships and engineering construction vessels, which can be referred for the construction of the similar low-grade channels in the future.
