Rivers are the soul of urban development. Rivers not only promotes the development of city, but also witnesses the development of city, which are closely bound up with the production and life of the people. The cooperative governance of urban river pollution is studied from the perspective of ecological civilization. And taking the Zoumatang River Harnessing Project in Jing'an District of Shanghai as an example, its river harnessing experience and technologies are analyzed, and the coordinated management methods used in the comprehensive treatment of rivers are analyzed, which have a certain revelation for the control of urban river pollution.
